Black love looks like care
Black love looks like healing
Black love looks like fearing

Fearing with a heart open
Silenced with words that can’t be spoken
Spells that needed to be broken
To release the lifeline of bad omen

"I believe the world is beautiful
Only the weak ones are cruel
I choose to love you without fear
No shame in being sincere
And I guess I've known it all along
The truth is you have to be soft to be strong"

A reminder for anyone reading this that it's okay to feel emotions. And it doesn't make you any less worthy or valuable if you do. It makes you more human and more real if you do.

Diary Notes
"Black women are the most disrespected woman in America."
"The last black man in San Francisco" was a movie I watched while flying over the Atlantic Ocean. I did not expect the kind of effect this movie would have on me. It was such a soft and warm portrayal of love between black men. It felt caring and thoughtful. It felt vulnerable and fun. That despite the living situations, they still have love and fondness for one another. And the cinematography added to this dream-like movie. This was a beautiful watch and much recommended to anyone that wants to see a different portrayal of what could be if black man allowed themselves to be and feel.
