ABOUT ME 

Hey,


My name is Angele-Marie, but I go by Angele for short.

I was born and raised in Curacao, however, have been living in the Netherlands for 3.5 years.
I study Trend Research and Concept Creation in Tilburg.

I identify as she/her.

I move through the world as a black, bisexual woman that also happens to be a Taurus.

I am fascinated with the concept of love and intimacy. I believe everyone is capable of feeling this, sometimes it just takes longer to uncover the mysteries of the heart.

As an artist, I tend to research the in-between of this feeling. What makes someone's heartbeat harder? What makes their soul sing? What makes their body move? In the best and worse way possible.


This then translates itself into my art. I use mediums such as visual arts, music, and storytelling poetry to materialize this idea.

My art centers in the discoveries of the self, and more specifically those of marginalized groups. However, I tend to focus on the groups that look and feel more like myself; Black Women.

I hope this speaks more on what you can expect on my hotglue.
